General Data Protection Regulation

We are highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believe that the protection of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities. In acknowledgment of its obligations, we have adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business:

1. 1. Acquisition of Information. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. Information gathered may include, but is not limited to, Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Address, Demographic Info, Date of Birth, Order Information, Product interests, content topic interests, etc. In addition to information about your visit such as IP Address, operating system, location information, and other device info. We may record additional info about your visit including pages you’ve viewed, products you browsed, and products placed in your shopping cart while using our website. We collect this info about you and your preferences to create a profile of your interests and to serve you personalized content on our website and our email marketing promotions that we believe may be of interest to you. In some cases, we may automatically enroll you in marketing campaigns based on your product interests or past purchases. You may optionally rate or review a product by entering your email, a star rating, and short text. By providing your review you authorize us to disclose your endorsement to other shoppers interested in that product. In order to measure the performance of marketing campaigns we monitor actions you take in connection with our marketing campaigns including links clicked. We use cookies to recognize you when you use or return to our site. In some cases, we use retargeting cookies and allow 3rd party service providers to provide interest based advertisements to you on other websites.
   2. Our Employees and Privacy. We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
   3. Security Measures. We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.
   4. Disclosure to Third Parties. We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.
   5. Privacy and Our Business Partners. When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Detail King strives to ensure that our customers receive only the highest quality service and merchandise. However, we realize that you may wish to return an item. Please carefully read the following Return Policy to see if your item meets the criteria for an acceptable return.

Return Policy

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Detail King will accept the return of many items within 30 days of the date of the original invoice. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for a return and will be issued by a Detail King Customer Service Representative for all approved returns. Products returned without an RMA number will NOT be accepted.

Detail King will NOT accept returns in other than ORIGINAL UNUSED condition. All warranty cards, product manuals, etc. must be in original, unaltered condition. ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN USED MAY NOT BE RETURNED.

Cancellations

If you order products or services and cancel your order before the item is shipped or the service is completed you may be subject to a 5% cancellation fee. Creative services such as business card design, logo development and web site design are subject to a 5% cancellation fee and any labor time incurred if creative work has already began.

Damaged Merchandise

Detail King is not responsible for merchandise damaged by customer misuse or failure to follow instructions specified with product. Returns will not be accepted for merchandise that has been damaged by customer misuse or negligence.

Shipping Charges

Shipping Charges are not refundable. Credits for returned merchandise will not include the original shipping charges. Customers are also responsible for paying shipping charges to return the item(s) to Detail King.

If you are requesting your shipment be sent Ups 2 day or Ups 3 day air the day it ships does not count as one of the shipping days nor does weekends or holidays. These are Ups shipping policys. In most cases orders received by 1PM will be shipped out that same day.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. DO NOT sign for a damaged package without full inspection of its contents. All items damaged in shipment are insured. If you receive a damaged item, please contact Detail King within 24 hours.

Returns will NOT be accepted for these items: Detail trailers, pressure washers, ozone machines, extractors, water containment mats and reclamation/filtration systems, water tanks, paint chip and vinyl repair systems, business packages, service menu, forms, flyer CDs, seminar registrations training manuals, software, and any custom or special merchandise orders.
